The holidays are a time for giving, and at Everlight Solar, we believe in spreading joy whenever possible. We’re excited to recap our toy donation partnerships with Cross Services and Toy Corner this year with our Minnesota teams. These two incredible organizations bring smiles to the faces of children and families in several ways, and we are very grateful for the opportunity to work hand in hand with them this holiday season.
Cross Services
Cross Services is a non-profit organization that provides critical support to individuals and families facing homelessness, poverty, and other challenges. Their mission is to empower individuals and families to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. They do this through a variety of programs, including workforce development, kids programs, house and food assistance, and more.
In our partnership with Cross Services, we were able to donate toys to their annual holiday toy shop. This shop brings together families experiencing homelessness and provides them with a much-needed moment of joy and connection. In total, our team was able to play a small role in the magic that Cross Services brings to so many during the holidays by donating around 90 pounds of toys!
The Toy COrner
Another organization we worked with is The Toy Corner, a fantastic group that works to ensure that every child has access to the joy of play. They collect and distribute donated toys to children in low-income families and shelters. This organization ensures that kids have the opportunity to experience the developmental and social benefits of play.
This year, Everlight Solar is partnering with Toy Corner by donating brand-new toys. They distribute the toys to children in need throughout the Twin Cities. The program aids to bring kids the magic of the holidays and remind them they are loved and cared for.
