On Saturday, September 18th, Everlight Solar was thrilled to host the University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project team and solar car at our Savage, MN, location!
These engineering students have poured tons of resources, time, and energy (no pun intended) into the project – and it shows. In fact, their solar car is an exceptional feat of engineering. The sleek design captured everybody’s eye at the event.
During this event, the University of Minnesota showcased their solar car, answered questions, spoke about previous races, and gave insight into the plans for the next generation of solar vehicles. The dedication and excitement for the future of solar technology was incredibly encouraging to witness. Indeed, speaking with the engineering students at University of Minnesota, shows those of us at Everlight Solar that the future of solar energy is increasingly bright!
Everlight Solar was happy to welcome customers, partners, and other local businesses. We thank our vendors La Vita Espresso and Eileen’s Colossal Cookies, for fueling us for the afternoon! We have so much gratitude for our local vendors and small businesses.
