Join us at the Everlight Solar Grand Opening in La Vista on Wednesday, August 17th at noon! Additionally, Everlight is going to be catering food from Summer Kitchen Cafe & Coffeehouse, so be sure to come hungry! Our company is ecstatic to help the residents of Omaha, NE, and surrounding areas with solar energy. We’re proud to bring clean energy to the Cornhusker State!
Partnering with Food Bank for the Heartland
Furthermore, Everlight is also partnering with Food Bank for the Heartland during this event. Food Bank for the Heartland is based locally in Omaha. Its mission is to provide help to people struggling with hunger in Nebraska. Food Bank for the Heartland has over 589 network partners and serves over 93 counties. If you feel compelled to help with their mission, Everlight Solar will collect food donations at our ribbon cutting and deliver them to the Food Bank for the Heartland nonprofit food pantry. They are currently looking for:
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Cereals
- Peanut Butter
- Rice
- Pasta
Additionally, the Food Bank for the Heartland accepts monetary donations as well, $1 provides up to 4 meals!
Community AND Everlight
As a company, we take pride in our local communities by participating in cleanups, fundraisers, and other charitable events. Everlight has completed successful community cleanups in all of our locations, including Blaine (Minnesota), Gretna (Nebraska), and Verona (Wisconsin). Every year, we provide Creighton University students with a Clean Energy Scholarship. As a matter of fact, Everlight Solar enables households to own their power instead of renting it from the power company. We believe that going solar shouldn’t be a headache and hassle-free. That’s why we supply the solar panels and take care of all the installation—for no upfront cost.
