This year, Everlight Solar will host a food drive to help our community through the holiday season. Our Verona location will accept non-perishable donations between October 26th and November 21st. All donations will benefit Second Harvest Foodbank, located in Madison, Wisconsin.
By partnering with Second Harvest, we are also a part of their Share Your Holidays Campaign. This campaign includes many local businesses in the area, and its goal is to support friends and neighbors facing hunger this holiday season. Whether you are close to our drop-off location or not, you can donate! Drop off food in person at our local warehouse, located in Verona, or give a monetary donation to provide funds for food purchases through our Everlight Team. Just $10 provides up to 25 meals! Every little bit counts.
For this year’s food drive, the most needed food items needed are:
- Beans (Canned or Dry)
- Oatmeal
- Canned Veggies
- Canned Chicken
- Low-Sugar Cereal
- Low-Sodium Soups & Stews
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Tuna
- Low-Sugar Canned Fruits
- Pasta
This isn’t Everlight’s first time holding a food drive like this. Last year, our team was able to donate 1,500 pounds of food to a local food pantry in Oregon, Wisconsin!
