This Thanksgiving season, Everlight Solar hosted a food drive for The Center for People in Need. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, The Center for People in Need has one mission: “…to provide services and programs to low-income people that address their basic needs and help them achieve economic independence.”
Everlight collected an estimated $5,000 worth of nonperishable food items, such as rice, beans, pasta, and other canned foods. In addition, diapers, baby formula, and other essentials for food-insecure families in the Lincoln and Omaha area were provided.
