As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded of the true meaning of community, kindness, and the power of giving. This year, all five of the Everlight Solar offices united to support our neighbors by donating to different local food banks. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, our office proudly partnered with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to fight hunger and create a lasting impact right here at home.
About Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin
Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin‘s mission is to connect people facing hunger with nutritious meals, remove barriers to food, and advocate for legislative solutions to end hunger. Hunger is a growing issue across the U.S., with 47 million people facing food insecurity. In Wisconsin, nearly 500,000 residents—171,460 of them children—struggle with hunger. Organizations like Feeding America play a vital role by rescuing food, storing it in local food banks, and distributing it to families.
What We ACHIEVED
Thanks to the generosity of our Milwaukee community and the Everlight Solar team, we donated 645 pounds of nutritious food—enough to help feed 538 families through the next two weeks and into Thanksgiving.
Making a Difference Together
At the end of it all, the experience left us profoundly grateful. Knowing that our efforts would help feed over 500 families throughout the next two weeks was an irreplaceable and rewarding experience. It’s something money can’t buy—it’s earned through teamwork, generosity, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
