Everlight Solar is proud to be once again recognized by Dane County’s Climate Champions Program! This year, we earned recognition as a 2026 1-Star Champion in the Fleet category. This award celebrates our continued efforts to transition our fleet to clean energy and reduce emissions across our operations.
The Dane County Climate Champions Program recognizes local organizations that take meaningful action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build a more sustainable community. The Fleet category highlights organizations that are making progress toward cleaner transportation and reducing their reliance on fossil fuels.
This recognition builds on Everlight Solar’s ongoing commitment to climate action in Dane County. In 2025, Dane County recognized us as a Climate Champion in the Fleet category after we converted 25–50% of our vehicles to clean energy. Today, 14 electric vehicles support our operations, helping our team reduce emissions as we travel to job sites, events, and throughout the communities we serve.
Our commitment to climate action started well before 2025. In 2023, Dane County named us an Emerging Climate Champion in Fleet Operations. In 2021, we earned Climate Champion Catalyst status for helping others in our community take climate action. Each recognition marks another step in our journey toward a more sustainable future.
At Everlight Solar, our commitment to sustainability extends beyond the solar systems we install. We look for ways to make a positive environmental impact in every part of our business, from the vehicles our teams drive to the communities we serve.
As we celebrate this recognition, we’re proud of the progress our team has made and excited to keep moving forward. We’ll continue exploring new ways to reduce our environmental impact, expand our clean-energy efforts, and support a more sustainable Dane County and beyond.
