Each year, Everlight Solar proudly awards $5,000 Clean Energy Scholarships to students committed to advancing renewable energy, sustainability, and climate solutions. This scholarship supports students whose academic focus and future careers align with building a cleaner, more sustainable world.
This year, we were incredibly impressed by the passion, innovation, and leadership demonstrated in the applications from Creighton University students. Selecting just two finalists was no easy task. We sincerely thank every applicant who is working toward a more sustainable future!
Creighton University | Omaha, Nebraska
The Everlight Solar Clean Energy Scholarship winner for Creighton University this year is Allison Moddelmog! Allison is currently pursuing pre-med studies in exercise science while maintaining a strong personal commitment to sustainability. She drives a hybrid vehicle, actively recycles, and composts whenever possible. Beyond her daily habits, Allison has traveled to Mexico multiple times to volunteer in building safe, energy-efficient homes for underserved communities. Her dedication to both healthcare and environmental responsibility reflects the mission of the Clean Energy Scholarship.
Maggie Haller is on track to complete both her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH). She integrates sustainability into her everyday life through recycling, composting, biking, walking, and using public transportation. Maggie also volunteers with Keep Omaha Beautiful, helping clean and restore local parks throughout Omaha. Her commitment to public health and environmental stewardship exemplifies the spirit of the Clean Energy Scholarship program.
